if you're looking for a budget-friendlyhome decor accessories there's no better place than your local thrift store. youdon't need to have a keen eye for design to spot the perfect items. you just needto know what to never pass on when you! visit. if you see it, grab it! i'm givingyou my four must-buys for home decor shopping at a thrift store. these areeasy to transform and they look amazing when you're done. talk about the biggestbang for your buck! i love plates with pretty patterns and ilove a wall of plates! so rather than spending crazy amounts of money onspecial decorative plates for your wall just head to the thrift store and searchfor a variety of sizes and colors. you


don't even have to diy them intoanything. just lay them out and hang them up. you can even add to the wall overtime. you can paint or spray paint anything these days and one of theeasiest diy tricks is to find yourself a little tchotchke, like this owl, and spraypaint it in a solid color. i love the look of white figurines on a shelf ordown the middle of your thanksgiving day table. you can find these types ofaccessories in home decor stores like west elm and homesense but you canmake them for a lot less. so easy and inexpensive... like i said, big bang foryour buck. there's something about throwing old books out that just doesn'tsit right with me but finding them at a


thrift store means they may find a newhome in your home. and don't worry about what they look like. you can cover themwith coordinating colored papers or even parchment paper for an off-white look. ilove the look of books on shelves so if you need to fill your shelves, books froma thrift store are a sophisticated way to do that and a must buy! if you're working on a tight budget andyou need dining chairs the thrift store may not give you the best matching setof chairs. it's sometimes hard to find more than one of the same thing but ilove this idea. if you find several chairs of similar size and shape and ingood condition, it's a must-buy. paint
