greetings, lloyd bethel jr. with el dorado furniture here, answering a few questions that folks have about mattresses today. what are some examples of the biggest mattress technology changes over the last five years? in terms of how they're constructed, you have what i call traditional innerspring, memory foam, now there's a new category thought of as hybrid. traditional inner spring mattresses use a coil foundation. over the years how thosecoils are linked or separated can affect how the mattress feels, conforms, and adds somewhat to the durability even with those traditional mattresses,in terms of newer technologies, they are now adopting some memory foams. memory foams were all the rage in terms of their conformability, pressure point relief, andmotion separation.

one person is not going to bounce the other person out of the mattress.by including those features with a more traditional inner spring mattress,it adds to a different sensation of how you experience support as well as comfort. i mentioned hybrid. no, it's not something you have to plug in just to make it work.a hybrid basically takes a memory foam top. smooth combination of dense and plushfeel foams and then places that above a bed of springs. it may sound a little odd butif you're in the market for a new mattress, make sure you give yourself the opportunity to experience all types of sleep surfaces you may think you want one thing but what your body is saying is, i need at this point in my life, is maybe something very different.
