hey guys, david here. and you know i love ikea product, and withthe release of the 2017 ikea catalog preview for their new products coming out next month,as always i’m super excited to check out what’s new and find some new inspirationfor future setup designs. there are a lot of new products coming nextmonth but here are some of my favourite new ikea items that i’m looking forward to tryingout: so if you don’t have a lot of space in yourplace for a dedicated workstation. the knotten is standing desk that can actas a mini hub for working on your laptop or other tasks.

with a couple drawers and shelves to storeyour gadgets and bags, built in cable management to hide your power cables and cords, and evensome hooks on the side to hold your keys or headphones. the knotten is a pretty clever solution tocreating your own computer battlestation in an extremely small footprint. next let’s look at their new sofa series. if you’ve seen my ikea friheten review youknow that i love the flexibility of a sofa bed for lounging around. and the new ikea vallentuna series looks tobe a premium take on the sofa bed design.

completely modular so it can be arrange foralmost any space. storage sections so you can hide away pillowsor other toys in the seats, or opt for sleeper sections that pull out into full beds withpocket springs. the vallentuna sofa series looks extremelycomfy for those lazy days. the next item that caught my eye was the newbarkaboda kitchen countertop. but i’m not thinking of using this for thekitchen but for the office instead. i’m starting to see a lot more people usingthese kitchen countertops like the karlby or the hammarp line for their office desksetup for that wood desk look. and the barkaboda countertop looks reallycool with the chevron pattern which would

make for a really unique desk setup. or for that diy itch i always have on theback of my mind. the harliga glass domes look like a prettycool inspiration for a future craft project to add some more decoration around the home. and there’s even some new food coming tothe ikea kitchen but i’ll leave it at that. so there’s definitely a lot more productsbeing added to the ikea portfolio next month but those were some of my favourites fromthe new collection. you can check out their preview of the wholeline up in the links below or ikea released some videos on their inspirations for theirnew line up that you can also check out.
