hi i'm betty ingham and i'm speaking on behalfof expert village you don't just have to have modern new furniture and old furniture youcan mix the 2 we happen to research to try to find a victorian set tee chairs chairsare recliners so they aren't in a sense modern. but we did want the big flower victorian lookso the furniture that you sit on in here is new however, we we're just lucky enough tohave many many antiques so we have maybe 150 year old table, my mother in law took, herparents took and old oil lamp and made it into a beautiful victorian lamp. the top hadbeen broken i researched it and i found the same pattern but i could not get the blueso i think they compliment each other they loved doilies anywhere you had a lamp or apicture you always set it on a doilie because
you didn't want to mare your furniture.
