interior design ideas for small tv rooms

hi i'm karla with karla dreyer design and welcome to decorwithlove tv interior design tips. so you want to redo your living room. you've set yourself a budget and now you're thinking what do i splurge on and what do i save on. i'm here to help you. so tip number one invest in the big stuff. so when i say the big stuff what do i mean. i mean your couch and your chairs. again, when you're thinking of this think how long you plan to keep it for and these are the major pieces you usually keep longer in a home. for this reason, when you are talking about your couch and your chairs

i always say go classic, go contemporary go clean lines and neutral colours. neutral colours are usually grey, which is super popular right now or some shade of beige. the only thing i'd caution you about with the beige be careful is it always has a bit of an undertone to it and sometimes it can be pink but your couches and chairs are where i say to splurge. tip number two and this one actually might surprise you is i say coffee and side tables are like accessories. this is where you can really add a lot of character and change up your room

and where i think you can save. i personally actually change up my coffee table kinda fairly often and it completely changes the room. so when you're thinking of your coffee table, when you're thinking of your side tables this is where i think you can have fun, show your personality and this is a save. tip number three lighting is like diamonds. so i guess if i'm mentioning the word diamonds you know that this is an area i say to splurge. a great chandelier or a great floor lamp can really make or break a room.
